This course is perfect for anyone who wants to create, record and produce music while learning how the sounds you love are made. You’ll work with industry-standard software and equipment, developing the skills used by producers, sound engineers and composers in today’s music industry.

    Entry Requirements

    • Four GCSEs at grade 6 or above
    • A grade 5 or higher in GCSE English
    • A grade 5 or higher in GCSE Mathematics
    • A minimum of a grade 6 or above in Music

    Assessment

    • Studio recording project (20%)
    • Technology-based composition (20%)
    • Listening & analysing exam (25%)
    • Producing & analysing exam – a hands-on practical exam (35%)
