Learning for Life: RSHE at KEVIGS

At KEVIGS, Relationships, Sex Education, and Health Education (RSHE) plays a vital role in students’ development across their seven years with us. Our aim is to help students gain a broad understanding of topics such as careers, mental health, protected characteristics, goal setting, and social media. RSHE also equips students with essential life skills to navigate situations affecting themselves or others.

Enrichment

Students benefit from visits by outside speakers on topics such as industry, careers, finance, and university. Off-timetable days with Lincolnshire County Council provide additional learning opportunities, reinforcing the work covered in lessons and helping students apply their skills in real-life contexts.

Curriculum Maps

Curriculum Maps show what students will learn in each subject and when. They give students a clear sense of progression and help parents understand how knowledge and skills are built over time across the school year.
