Welcome to King Edward's and to our website.

King Edward's is a unique community that provides an enriched academic education for able children. We are committed to the highest academic standards but are equally committed to developing the whole child through our extensive enrichment programmes. Both of these pledges have been independently validated by Ofsted who have rated King Edward's as Outstanding, ranking us at this level in 29 out of 31 categories, and placing us into a tiny national elite of A* schools alongside the likes of Bourne and Caistor Grammar Schools. Our results this summer placed us amongst the top 200 Schools in the Country and the Sutton Trust Report into Higher Education success placed us in the top 200 nationally compared to all State Schools, Independent Day and Boarding Schools, and Sixth Form Colleges.

Despite all of the above we are equally passionate about enriching the lives of our pupils. It is not enough to leave King Edward's with good grades what we want is for pupils to have develped a passion for something other than the academic. Our broad enrichment programme and Enrichment Days ensure we deliver on that promise to provide opportunities for all pupils.
