King Edward's is made up of both ancient and modern properties. We have invested over £4million in the site in a series of refurbishments and projects including a new Refectory, Performance Space, Sixth Form Centre and Humanities Department.
We have further plans for a new Sports Hall, Science Block and Astro Pitch in the pipeline as well a new Sixth Form Boarding House.
Results are not enough. We aim to provide a broad and balanced curriculum with plenty of opportunities for personal development. We are committed to developing the whole child.
Sport for all. Our focus is on encouraging children to enjoy their sport and develop a broad range of skills for life. Our pupils perform at County and National level in many different areas of sporting life.
Creativity through Art, Photography, Graphics, Music and the Performing Arts are some of the core components of life at King Edward's. We believe that a balanced curriculum is important to allow children the opportunity to develop their creative streak.
